Helloooo!
Happy Momentum Monday (on a Sunday)!
So, the clocks have jumped forward (I know this was a couple weeks ago in the US but it’s day 1 across the pond), Spring has officially sprung, and everywhere you turn people are shouting about fresh starts! spring cleaning! new season, new you!
And if you’re anything like me, you’re over here thinking: Okay, but my brain still thinks it’s February.
So as a friendly reminder:
You don’t need to overhaul your entire damn life just because the calendar flipped.
It’s a new week, a new season, and yeah—the clocks shifted (whyyyyy is this still a thing?!)—but that doesn’t mean you have to shift everything all at once.
✨ For ADHD brains, transitions can feel like being thrown into the deep end without floaties. New season, new schedule, new expectations? That’s a recipe for shutdown, not success.
But here’s the magic sauce most people miss:
You don’t need to sprint into Spring. You are allowed to saunter.
You don’t need a glow-up or a color-coded routine. You are also allowed to do/create both of those things if they’re helpful or give a boost of dopamine.
You are allowed to gently… nudge yourself forward.
🌱 This Week’s Theme: The Gentle Transition
This week, I want you to forget about the big overhauls and focus on soft starts — tiny ways to help your brain and body adjust without pressure or perfectionism.
Here’s how to lean into change without blowing up your nervous system:
✅ Use the environment as a cue, not a command.
The light’s changing, the air feels different — let that be a nudge, not an obligation. Open a window. Sit outside for 3 minutes. Swap your heavy hoodie for a lighter jacket. You’re in charge of how you shift.
✅ Pick up the ball where you left it — no shame, no big declarations.
If you’ve dropped routines, goals, habits (hi, literally all of us), don’t start over. Just… start again. Quietly. Gently. Maybe you forgot about your evening prep routine for 3 weeks — who cares? Do it tonight. That’s it.
✅ Choose one teeny-tiny momentum task.
Think: Clearing off one surface. Putting one thing back where it belongs. Walking around the block without turning it into a fitness challenge. Making your bed ish.
Start small, start soft, start messy — just start.
This Week’s Action Item:
Pick one gentle transition task.
One little thing that helps you step into this new season without flipping your life upside down.
➡️ Hit reply and tell me what you’re choosing!
Are you opening your windows? Putting your gym shoes by the door tonight so it’s easier to get out the door in the morning? Clearing off the kitchen table so tomorrow feels less chaotic?
Whatever it is, I wanna hear it — every small step matters.
Because remember…
Momentum > Motivation. Every damn time.
Let’s keep that ball rolling (even if it’s rolling kinda sideways).
k, love you, bye,
Leah 🌶
